For over twenty-five years, Danny Vera has been going his own way. Raised with Cash, Orbison, and Presley. From Middelburg, Danny slowly conquered the Netherlands. Against all odds, he entered the premier league of rock & roll. Without concessions. Independent. A hippie in a suit with a pompadour. A pacifist, a vegetarian, he loves writing protest songs. In his own way. His love for a good song is stronger than the desire for a radio hit. But it did come. Roller Coaster. From Top Song to Alarm Disc, and also very high in all the year-end charts.

Last October, Danny performed at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam for the third time in a row, this time with a completely self-assembled orchestra called The Neon Orchestra! To celebrate Danny's birthday, he wanted to release this version along with the original on a 7-inch single.
